Could you tell me more about the menu?

We offer one a la carte menu, which changes seasonally, guided by what’s of the best quality possible. The five course tasting menu is another very popular option. Our team works tirelessly to craft dishes for our guests’ enjoyment. If you have dietary restrictions, please make note of them when making your reservation online. We will do our best to accommodate your needs.

What is the price to eat Upstairs?

The price of the menu is determined by the price of the ingredients. Currently, the six course tasting menu price is $65 and a customized wine pairing is optional. This season’s a la carte menu starts at $12 for an appetizer, and $29 for an entrée.

How long does it take to eat at Upstairs?

It really depends on the time you wish to take. On average one should allow two to three hours for your meal, especially if you order a six-course tasting menu.

Do you have a dress code?

We invite our guests to come as they are and feel at home. You may dress down but not too much!

What are the opening hours for Upstairs?

Open Wednesday through to Sunday nights, from 5.30pm. Upstairs is closed September and October.

Can you tell me more about the restaurant?

Upstairs is well lauded as Grand Cayman’s no. 1 restaurant for Chef Kyle’s consistently excellent standard. Modern European techniques, with local and Caribbean ingredients, fuse to create a masterpiece of a menu.

The service under the direction of manager Kevin Gratton and his team effortlessly combines friendly and attentive hospitality with a fine sense of relaxed Caribbean tradition and decorum, in keeping with the grandeur and history of the plantation style building.

Inside, the Rare Rum Lounge is beautifully decorated with comfortable couches arranged around the Rum Cabinet, with Cayman’s widest selection of luxury sipping rums. The boutique wine list is selected to compliment every dish on the menu, with new and old world both well represented.

The menu at Upstairs changes frequently and reflects the season and the coastal location.  All desserts are made in-house and selections change regularly.
