“CAN YOU TELL ME MORE ABOUT THE RESTAURANT?”
Upstairs at Kaibo was well awarded as Grand Cayman’s no. 1 restaurant in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 for consistently excellent quality food, service, value and atmosphere. The chefs cook up a storm with modern techniques, using local and Caribbean ingredients, to create a masterpiece of a menu.
The service under the direction of Maitre d’ Brain O’Neil and his exceptional team effortlessly combines friendly and attentive hospitality with a fine sense of relaxed Caribbean tradition and decorum, in keeping with the grandeur of the plantation style building.
Inside, the Rare Rum Bar is a beautifully decorated lounge with comfortable couches arranged in cosy drinking nooks. The Rare Rum Cabinet boasts Cayman’s widest selection of sipping rums. The boutique wine list is selected to compliment every dish on the menu, with new and old world both well represented.
The menu at Upstairs changes frequently and reflects the season. Most of the fish is line caught and local, to boost the local fishing industry in the Cayman Islands. All desserts are made in house.
