It is often helpful when planning your wedding to imagine you have already arrived at the day. Imagine your dress, the smell of the flowers, the warm breeze. How will you and your guests choose to come to Kaibo? By boat or barefoot by beach? We can provide a water shuttle for those coming from the other side of the island. Would you like champagne, rum punch or some other refreshments for your guests as they wander onto the beach? We offer a mouth watering selection of canapes (passing food platers) for peckish audiences while they wait for the ceremony to start. We can arrange to have your guests congregate under the shade of a beautifully decorated thatched cabana, a perfect scenario set up so that you, the bride and groom, can arrive minutes later to the applause of your loved ones. Or you may prefer to walk down an isle in the sand, indicated by palm fronds, or conch shells. Petals can be scattered in your path as you make your way toward the ocean to take your vows. Your minister can await you under an arch or a simple bamboo canopy adorned with muslin and fresh flowers.
The ceremony is your own, and Kaibo’s remote and tranquil location ensures that when the world stops spinning as you say”I do”, there will be nothing to distract you or your party.
After the ceremony, the sun may be setting, and the lights of the tiki torches add to the glow of colours in the sky. We have a large selection of pre-dinner cocktails, to preceed the wedding dinner, which can be a menu of your own creation, by picking and choosing from our extensive culinary options. (see set party menus for a variety of options) The tables can be arranged to your design on the freshly raked beach. 
The table decorations can range from minimal to tastefully dramatic. Kaibo is proud to be one of the few wedding venues who do not demand an extra cover charge per head. We are pleased to offer white linens, tables and chairs for a very competitive rate. If you have other colors in mind for your scheme then we can also accommodate this for a nominal fee. We can offer local and tropical flower arrangements, lighting displays, sky lanterns and candles. The little touches are an opportunity make the dinner an intimate experience and express the bride and grooms’ personalities.
Parties who prefer a more formal environment may be pleased to know there is an option to take the meal to our restaurant ‘Upstairs’. Here we can offer air conditioning, the infamous granite topped Square Bar and the elegant muslin-curtained balcony overlooking the beach. The restaurant also offers an insurance against weather, should the rain come as an uninvited wedding crasher.
Kaibo take pleasure in suggesting music choices for during the ceremony, meal and the party afterwards. We have connections with local bands and can organise your DJ and entertainment package for you.
Should your guests be a crowd who like to shake their booty as night draws in, we can create a sand dancefloor and even offer a glitterball and lighting suspended over the beach! We can also recommend loungers and scattered cushions around low tables for after dinner chilling.
