Kaibo Goes Green!

Kaibo endeavours to do our bit to help with the environment.

* We recycle all our Caybrew bottles and crates and return them to the brewery.

* To-Go food packaged in cardboard.(no Styrofoam containers)

* To-Go bags are recycled paper bags.(no plastic bags!)

* We  use biodegradable cleaning products

* We  support the National Trust glass recycling program

* We encourage all our customers to reuse all plastic cups.

Mardi Gras

Kaibo Mardi Gras is the biggest organised annual party on the island.

2010 celebrates the 11th Mardi Gras at Kaibo.

The Cayman Islands Mardi Gras takes place every year on Kaibo Beach on the Ash Wednesday public holiday, and attracts thousands of party people. Mardi Gras on February 17th 2010 enjoys the theme “Wicked! Party in OZ!” and  ’VIP ‘ ticket sales are on now at Tortuga factory store in Industrial park and Tortuga Govenors Square. Midday – midnight. Ferries all day.

Bands, Beads, dancing girls and the Islands Best Djs and MCs will be on the stage to entertain you with great music, competitions, prizes and giveaways on the day. Entry is $5.

There are 3 ferries continuously running all day from Safehaven, $10 ferry round trip.  Last returning boat leaves Kaibo at midnight. Ferries were sponsored by Caybrew.  The Caybrew Safe Haven Bar welcomed you to Mardi Gras and ensures refreshements at the start of your journey across the North Sound.
There is an obligatory Park ‘n’ ride service for those coming by road.
